The moment you left the cab, a solemn atmosphere immediately filled up my world.

Somehow, these three months had been a revelation for me. In terms of who I care
and would reciprocate, who I could really open myself up to and who could come to
me looking for a pair open arms and an open ear. In short, in terms of good friends.
The opposite of that? 酒肉朋友

Good friends do not mean that you meet this particular single one for 5 days a week
and he/she is your good friend. Quality, not quantity. You could be talking thrash with this
person for all of the days and everything is superficial. Or you could just be drinking with
him/her all night long and nothing goes right at all. There is nothing in depth about this
friendship at all. It is fun though to not care and bother about shit and just have fun. All in all,
I prefer quality sharing and meaningful talks. We do not need to meet up every week. We can
meet up once or twice every month and we update each other with what's going on in our lives.
You want to know more about your friend so you probe in a little and you share yours. We give
advices and opinions, we share our thoughts. That is quality.

I do not mind 酒肉朋友s at all. They are fun and we do not hold any responsibility to
each other because we do not know each other at all. However, they will remain in
that category. That's it. Till both of us open up if not we are each others' 酒肉朋友.

I have good friends who I meet up with every week and I love it. We would share our
thoughts, break down and cry or laugh our hearts out together. I have good friends
who I only meet once every month and we do the same. I cherish all of them and I
really hope they are my good friends twenty years down the road and they think the
same as I do.

The final entry of 2009 will be a happy one! Christmas on the sea has to be one
of the joyous moments of 2009 =) I've always loved Christmas celebrations and this
year has got to be one of the best yet! Pictures pictures, let's reminisce those
fantastical moments =) This is why camwhoring is so awesome, they capture all the
joy and laughters!

The buffet has to be the best thing the cruise offers! Breakfast, lunch, dinner
& supper. Danggg! Talk about getting fat. It doesn't help much when the food is
pretty yummy and you can't help but to take another serving. They don't fade in
comparison to the buffets at the 4 stars hotels. (well 5 stars is on another level
hahahah)

Late at 1-2 am, either you're a compulsive gambler who's rubbing screens of the
jackpot machines in the casino, or you're a early sleeper already snoozing off
in your cabin. Gwennie Gwen and I are neither! So we explored the cruise ship
and camwhored at every possible place we could! The bubble lift ones are my fav.!

What's Christmas without a Christmas Dinner!!! You had to be dressed up formally and
well, I didn't had any so I wore crap. But mehhh I still looked good in crap I guess
LOL. I had seafood salad for my appetiser, turkeyyy for main course and fruits (yawn
it's healthy) for dessert.

Count down to Christmas! Everyone was down at the Main Piaza for the countdown
but it was very chaotic with little kids running around and screaming and well,
APNNs bumping into your with their big bellies. So we opted for the bar with a
quiet ambience for our countdown!

I am not sure how I feel about 2009... but I always look forward to the next year.
Yep army is knocking on its door and I am optimistic about it. I ain't gon' put
the dark cloud above my head myself so it's a different approach to what I've
always been dreading! =DDD Bring on 2010 alreadyyy!

Brainstorming session with great minds was extremely productive and fabolous. =)
Without Flappy and her shingz ideas, I thought we worked really well. It was time
that I felt I needed to take some actions against Flappy's poor work ethic. If it was
about the leadership role that Flappy was forced to step down, resulting in Flap's
shockingly bad attitude, well I am trying to empathize. I did not get the easy way out
when I was pushed to be the head. I had to step it up and improve my work ethic. It
was no more procrastination and I learnt how to be more decisive. Because as the head,
everything you do are being magnified. I am trying to be at my bestest and it's harder
than I thought. Thankfully, the rest of the team are bringing out the best in me. I love
working with them. Before this, I may have thought otherwise, but it was today that
cleared any doubts about them totally. Doubts became respect.

I felt really awful when I got to know that two of them did not receive what they deserved.
They deserved equal, if not a better alphabet than me. Because of that, I worked really hard
this time round with my part of the project. Yes really hard, but my partner worked even
harder. And because of that, I want to protect her blood & sweat, her precious time contributed
to our project. And not just her, my other two good friends had spent a lot of time with their part
of the project too. They need to receive what they deserve - a good grade. For Flappy who has
not been putting any effort, I will take actions to make sure we get a better grade than Flap. I've
discussed with the man-in-charge today and we shall see what happens next.

I would really hate it if the tiny struggle over the leadership was the reason of Flap's ignorance.
Yes you were forced to stepped down, it may have been a slap in the face but letting
individualism taking over group effort is stupid. Hopefully, this is not the reason.

You deserve better because we know you have it, but you let yourself down.
Too much distractions in your life and you can't set your priorities right.

Finally, after 3 months of long Summer break, football is back! =D And what's better than a absolutely fantastic start to the new season? I wasn't expecting a total thrashing, after all the Gunners were playing against the league's 5th best team.

What delighted me the most was the new formation 4-3-3. I am sure the attacking players, especially Arshavin, will benefit from that in the long run. The formation allows interchanging of positions and creates a lot of space for the team to do their passing in the midfield. We saw that for quite a bit when the team played on Saturday. Will Arsene Wenger stick with 4-3-3? I think he might just drop back to 4-5-1 anytime if the team is sucking. Speaking of Wenger, I am still habouring the high hope that he will purchase a central midfielder =(

Song impressed me! He was the most improved player last season so he better be the real deal this season. Denilson is an asset because this guy is a workhorse! He runs for the full 90 minutes and never stops. Bendtner is the same, he worked very hard during the game. I would say that he is very underrated by the fans. Fabregas had a great game and it is so important for him to continue that. The team challenged for the top during 07/08 season and he was the engineer behind it. RVP's contributions are just as vital, he's got the best freekicks with his deadly left foot. Not forgetting Eduardo, who's got the striker instinct and is a fox in the box. The squad looks good on paper, but yeah come on, the defence needs more reinforcement and we need an experience CM! No Diaby please, he's a tragedy waiting to happen.

It's only the first game of the season, but this away win is so vital and the following fixtures are pretty tough. Manchester United scrapped a win, Chelsea struggled with their diamond formation and I have no idea what Liverpool was doing. Then again, it's only the first game. We shall see what happens when we're 10 games into the season and will Manchester City really challenge.

Manchester City's match was so boring I almost snoozed off. It seemed like Ade's offside disease was spreaded to Bellamy. Barry sucked and Ireland is balding at the age of 22. King Kolo did well so I am happy for him. =) I say, Mark Hughes will be sack by the end of the season hahah. Or maybe, maybe he might just prove his critics wrong... hmmm!

After 3 magnificent days in Bintan with my wonderful buddies and
campmates, it's back to shithole Keppel. I do not enjoy staring
at the darn monitor and doing autocad for 8 fucking hours.
I can hardly find any joy in that. Why do I have to edit their
procrastinated drawings? Why must I be put under pressure to finish
their delayed work? They better not want me to shoulder any blame
and responsibility if my editing isn't up on par. They must know better.

I don't give shizzles if they want to hire me back after NS or not.
That cannot be found anywhere on my priority list. When Alan Choo asked
what is our objective of this attachment, I blatantly responded, 'Just to
pass my Marine&Offshore course, duh!' Everyone in the room nodded.

I want to write about my trip with them but I have to go to bed now.
I need to get up at fucking 5.30 am and get out of my house by 6.

We went for dinner together with Sze Hui & Zharif

MEGA UPDATE

I love the ICEBREAKER!!!
Went on board again today and participated in the Inclination test.
which means SLACKING for me!!! I stayed in the canvas and slacked hahah.
And there's free chicken rice for lunch! AND IT'S YUMMY LEH!!!

The inclination test, basically they have to find the origin
of the ship and balance it. So the ship is often tilted/slanted
to one side during the test. I ate my lunch in a slanted position hahah!

It was slightly boring, because there's nothing to do.
And I talked and talked with Van for the whole morn & afternoon! =D
AND WE BOARDED THE TUG BOAT and went around the hull of the icebreaker!

the examination period. It's so amazing that

I've never been so stressed out over Examinations

had actually sat down together and talked craps!
So today, we managed to do that =D A nice 2 hours
spent with them at Pizza Hut. We should do it
more often man and not all the people came too.

Most of the entertainment was brought by Naro LOL.
Okay she really shocked me today by paying the
meal. It costed like over hundred bucks! I guess
she really wants to fit in and she did today,

I've met so many people in my 13 years of studies.

The final 2 years of my primary school life would
be the best moments yet. What we did together was
so memorable, especially the parapara dance =D
Whether we're still in contact or not, I will always
remember these two years. People I hate & people I love,
they made my pre-teen life so fun and so great.

Secondary school was a roller-coaster ride.
The boys I'm with, we fought we quarrelled
but we made up and we're as good as before.
I really miss the days where you basically
know everybody (E1-E5)and we're all cool and nice
to each other. Not all, but most.
It's incredible and I'll never get that again.

I'm happy at where I'm at now.
And these 4 crazy people,
they are the rock of my poly life. =D
I couldn't have asked for more from them.

If there's any movie that I lost count of the times
the casts cursed 'FUCK!', it has to be this marvellous one!

IT IS SO FUCKING GOOD! And fucking good

I love Angie's final scene where she shot the bullet

And also the part where she drove her car at probably

I fell asleep yesterday during the CL match hahah.
But from what I saw, Chelsea were the better side, so kudos to them.
Drogba's strikes were really good. Liverpool lost because they didn't take
their chances well like Drogba did. Seriously, I'm sure a hell lot of people
will love Drogba if he got a better attitude.

I will be very BITTER if they won their first finals though. They had all the easy
teams to beat and got quite lucky really. I guess you do need luck in football.

Remembering Arsenal's road to their first finals, it was so sweet and memorable. Making history at Bernabeu, overcoming Vieira's emotional comeback, and Lehmann saving Riquelme's penalty (which was won by a dive), proving a point that there is still fairness in football. =D

Luck is a really important factor. Chelsea has been so fortunate, Arsenal had the worst of luck and Liverpool used up theirs against us. Hopefully the truly worthy Manchester United will win, and that red face jerk might finally retired! =D

Gahyong's a happy kid! Not because of the ice cream, but 'cos Chelsea won hahah.

3. Only visit Sungei Buloh if you really have nothing better to do!

Bukit Panjang is a really bad place to hail a cab.

I love the BBQ gathering last night! It's really nice to sit down and chat with family. =) And what's better than Jordan & his entertaining antics & conversations with people. laport = underwear, whaaat? And Uncle Jo got a little bit high (dead) hahah.

The night made my week a whole lot better.

The world is really unfair. If only everything could be negotiated into your own way. If only they could be compromised. What would you do if all things seem to go against you? I need the tide to be changed now.

I went straight to chalet after returning from Bangkok. And I have million of drunk photos to post and I want to and I will post them! It's always so wild & crazy with my boys & 7 besties. Never one chalet I felt bored, neither did this one.

We've really grown... from the crazy water bomb fights in the rain to getting drunk, smoking shit & people fucking in bedrooms (dead) hahah. Like damnnn!

First, let me introduce you the crazy 6 who got drunk that night.
(we were half-conscious, not totally dead! so I do remember some shit we did)

ME, Boon, Dan, Ber, Leon & Weilong =D
Unfortunately, Weilong was the first to get knocked out, so I don't have a picture of him drunk. And he puked quite a bit.

What do drunk people do??

Leon dared me to smoke and I took my first damn puff of my life. DANG it was good, but I kept on choking on it and they screamed at me for wasting the cig LOL.

Boon, Dan & Leon ummm okay showered together! totally naked. I was in there but lied on the toilet bowl and got chased out 'cos I wasn't gonna shower & I don't have a towel.
Then I went downstairs, fell to the ground and laugh uncontrollably with Ber, like mad. We threw food at each other and spilled drinks onto the floor hahah. And if anyone need further prove that Ber is drunk, she offered me her towel so I can bathe. MAJOR LOL.

She's not the worst. Daniel wore only a boxer and walked around the chalet. THEN FUCKING WEAR MY BOXER AND THROW TO ME.

Boon got knocked out next after he showered.

There's more stuffs but I can't remember now. The last thing we did was taking pictures. I must say people do look ugly when they are drunk. (shakes head)

Bangkok's likea cooler version of KL. It's cleaner, less hazy, it's more developed and what! A shopping mall that actually sells only imitations clothes & ultra cheap tees! And there's a this one level that only has handphone shops! Crazy.

And their cabs are cool seh.
Motorbike cabs, tut-tut cabs.

The tut-tut driver took us to the wrong hotel, and he basically ride us
around the heart of Bangkok hahah.
